Room acoustics

The soundabsorption in a room participates decisive for it, like reverberant a room is appearing to us and how loud a sound-source participates. Room acoustical measures especially shall guarantee a sufficient speech intelligibility in class- rooms and education-areas, session-rooms, small meeting-areas, gymnasiums, courtrooms, etc. Also, customer-areas of banks require for example a sufficiently damping treatment to the maintenance of certain confidentiality.

The estimated reverberation times or other roomacoustical parameters e.g. late- ral measures, acoustical quality, speech intelligibility, can be calculated with com- puter simulation programs.
